Travers Stakes winner Fierceness will try to win another Grade 1 race at Saratoga Race Course when he leaves the starting gate in the 2025 Met Mile on Saturday in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Last year Fierceness won the Travers to improve his record at Saratoga to a perfect 3-for-3. For Saturday he has been installed as the 1-1 morning-line favorite in the 2025 Met Mile odds. White Abarrio (9-5), Just a Touch (4-1), Raging Torrent (5-1) and Castle Chaos (20-1) round out the five-horse Met Mile field. Post time for the $1 million Met Mile 2025 is 3:17 p.m. ET.

With several talented horses set enter the starting gate on Saturday, you NEED to see what Santa Anita Park-based racing reporter and insider Michelle Yu, who's in Saratoga Springs to cover the race, has to say before making any 2025 Met Mile picks.

Few people in racing are as well-connected as Yu. An on-air host and reporter who has provided racing analysis for TVG, HRTV and the Breeders' Cup, Yu has spent a lifetime in racing. Prior to her television career, she worked for trainers Steve Asmussen and Ron Moquett. She also is married to Santa Anita-based trainer Ryan Hanson.

In a wide-open Kentucky Derby in 2021, she gave out Medina Spirit, who crossed the finish line first, as the winner at 12-1. In Pool 5 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager three years ago, she suggested a play on All Other 3-Year-Olds, which cashed at a whopping 18-1 when Rich Strike won. On the Belmont Stakes undercard, she nailed National Treasure's win in the Met Mile and had the winner and exacta in the Woody Stephens Stakes. She closed out the year by hitting the exacta in the Breeders' Cup Classic.

She started off 2025 by correctly going all-in on Citizen Bull to win the Robert B. Lewis Stakes, and she also predicted Forever Young's win in the Saudi Cup, Journalism's win in the San Felipe Stakes, Sandman's win in the Arkansas Derby and Mindframe's win in the Churchill Downs Stakes. She also hit the exacta in the Kentucky Derby. Anyone who has followed her is way up. Join SportsLine now to unlock her 2025 Met Mile picks here, and use promo code JOCKEY to unlock 50% off.

For the 2025 Met Mile, Yu has made her picks and constructed her bets. One surprise: She is completely fading White Abarrio, even though he is the second choice at 9-5. "I've never loved this horse at a mile," she told SportsLine. Yu is not using him in any wagers. Join SportsLine now to get her full 2025 Met Mile insider picks, and get 50% off using the promo code JOCKEY.

However her top pick is a horse who is coming off an "absolute banger." She also is high on another horse who was "visually impressive" in his last start. She is including these horses in her 2025 Met Mile bets, and so should you. You ABSOLUTELY NEED to see her picks before locking in any of your own.
